This past week at the same small business conference, I spoke on a panel about the importance of branding. I was asked by the moderator to introduce myself and give my thoughts on the topic. I decided to do a quick Google search and just pick out what I thought. I didn’t really find much that really resonated with me. What I did find was that the vast majority of people (including myself) don’t know what branding is.

There are many ways to do this that will help Google understand your business better. The first thing we suggest is to create a page that describes your company and what your services are. The best example is a website called Tractor Supply, that has a description of the services they offer.
